A very nice book BUT the last page is a pop-up butterfly, which the book description doesn't warn you about. I'd gotten the book to read to a 24-month-old who loves butterflies but she would've destroyed that pop-up in no time flat! (not deliberately of course) I would just say be aware that the pop-up is there and don't get the book if the child you're getting it for is an overly enthusiastic toddler!My 2 year old and I absolutely love this book. They read this to him at daycare and I bought him a copy for the house. It’s so well written and the artwork is amazing. Highly recommend!!A beautiful book. Especially the pop out butterfly at the end. My 3 yr old likes to turn the pages with the hidden holes on the pages. Nice little story too.It was for my grandson who loves butterflies and bugs, but did not want to.learn to read. When he saw this book he got excited and is now beginning to read! He loves it. It made a reader out of a kid with no interest.Such a cute book. My daughter is excited to see the ending every time!My toddler loved this book from the first time we read it. The illustrations are amazing, particularly the butterfly that "flies up" from the pages at the end, and the story is interesting and easy to follow. Plus, the learning component of teaching colors and types of insects is great. These kinds of amazing books are hard to find - thank you!We love this book. It's simple and charming and little 3-year old girls love it.I was looking forward to using this book for teaching a children’s class about butterflies. It was represented as being in near perfect condition. The most important page, where the butterfly is supposed to be displayed after coming out of its cocoon, was missing! La historia no es excesivamente interesante o pedagógica pero es fácil de leer o explicar para niños que aprenden inglés.This is a great book. The children are so happy when I pull this off the shelf. The pictures are beautiful and story is lovely.Pretty book
