This is a fable book not a scientific bird book.Wonderful for children 7-10.My almost 11 year old really enjoys it. There's wit humor and life lessons that follows the creation timeline, all from Birdland where the birds are learning lessons from Mother Magpie, King Eagle, Selfish Mr. Owl, and even a resurrection story of Wren who had fallen from the grace of society and how he was able to come back... Delightful!
